Turbo-compressors TK-280 and TK-42 ( hereinafter TK) are intended for supercharging of diesel engines aimed at their capacity increase, with cylinder volume unchanged. TKs are not operated separately, being components of engines. ТК-280 is a substitute for Czech-made turbo-compressors PTD 280 АН.

As compared with the prototype product, it has a higher supercharging efficiency and a longer service life. Mining and metallurgical enterprises supplied with 110-120 t dump trucks with the above engines are among potential customers. ТК42 can be used on the railway transport with diesel locomotive engines 1D80.
