D051 gas turbine engine is designed as a part of a gas compressor unit to drive the supercharger and is used at gas compressor stations on gas mains and in underground gas storage areas.

Technical Data

GTD D051 design is based on that of GTD D049 GTD is a two-shaft scheme with a free power turbine. Gas generator is unified with GTD D049, and power plant is of a cantilever type.

The accessory drive assembly is mounted within the reduction gearbox overall dimensions to transmit the torque to the mounted oil pump block, oil fume suction fan and electric starters.
